Rakhi This Season
Here comes the ‘RAKHSA BANDHAN’
The preparations are all done,
The ‘little’ brother is ready and even RAKHEES are set,
But, out of hope, his eyes turned wet,
The Tilak Thaali & Sweets are there,
But, he hardly find his SISTERS anywhere.
He sorrowfully realized that he is alone,
And has to please himself talking with them on the PHONE.
He remembered the old days
Of excitement and twist(s),
About the sweets he swallowed
And the count of RAKHEES on his wrist ;
How his sisters received the gifts with airs,
And wore the attitude of ‘Who cares…!!! ’.
Now,
He wanted to express his despair,
But, he thought ‘Will it be fair??? ’
He discerned their unavailability & helplessness,
And cherished their old days of togetherness.
Then, an idea clicked with a sound,
You must be wondering what he found!!!
He thought of another RAKHI to celebrate this season,
And the media hype was the basic reason,
Although She is done with Elesh Prajunwala,
And he wondered ‘ki usne (Elesh) ne apni life ke saath kya kar dala ???’
Suddenly, he heard a scream,
And woke up from his Early Morning DREAM….
