College ki kahani-2 (censored version)

POEM- “COLLEGE KI KAHANI- 2”

1st Semester Passed in getting acquainted with the College,
We strived throughout the Semester exams,
That tested our knowledge.

Tackling with the library system we went mad,
Out dated style of issuing is really very sad.
However,
Newspaper stand is the coolest place,
‘Reference section’ adds more to this race.

The institute often talks Hi-Fi,
That they have placed system of Wi-Fi,
But, the speed of internet is not even a pie,
It is place where our patience die.

With no mouse attachment,
Surfing place becomes Starvation Zone;
As if the cats have partied,
Leaving the computers alone.

The place to enjoy was WORKSHOP,
We find ‘creativity’ as the key to open this ‘lock’.
We started up with the LATHE,
The rotating chuk strengthened our faith;
As we reached the Bench vice,
We were weird away filing 1mm slice.
When we saw how machines talk,
We concluded that ‘MECHANICAL REALLY ROCK’.

Labs appeared to be the refreshing one,
Thanks to the staff they were easily done.

Coming to the subjects and their respective teachers,
Let us discuss their salient features.

Calculating Acoustical Interference Relative to Ultrasonic,
Physics flew away with speed of supersonic;
Talking of X-rays & shooting electron gun,
The ‘teacher’ incorporated some real fun.

The subject that ruined us was ’Applied Chemistry’,
‘Fuels & Combustion’ was like unsolved mystery;
Also,
‘Explosives & Propellants’ blasted in the exam,
And we did nothing except hitting our palm.

Engineering Mechanics lead to Brain teasing,
As ‘Friction & M.I.’ were not so pleasing;
D’Alembert’s Principle added more to the trouble,
Although,
‘Trusses & Bending Moment’ formed a Scoring Couple.

When it came to Communication Skill,
It was like a Sleeping Pill;
In Madam’s lecture we got confuse,
And most of us appeared like a ‘Short –circuited fuse’

Maths did not included much change,
It just integrated its wide range.

Now,
Last but not the least,
Let us discuss Electrical’s Feast,
It was the one with Shocking taste,
‘Measuring Instrument’ was treated like a waste.
Our madam really taught us well,
She always had something new to tell.

2nd semester ended really very fast,
Like watching fast forward film without knowing the cast.
