One last time @ EDI

16th Batch Convocation: 2nd May, 2015

Finally,
The time has come to bid farewell to my dear friends,
With whom I took the oath of setting new Entrepreneurial trends.
So, let me make this one an E-school fad,
Give me a chance to turn you mad.
Here is a descriptive story of the 16th batch,
I just tried to make things match!

I wish to start it from ‘Messiah’ for all,
Suhail bhai is always on the call;
Exactly opposite is his roomie from UP,
And, Jail politics interests SP(Surya Pratap)!

A group of silent killers also exist,
Instead, they have great listening skills,
It includes Ujjval,Sudhanshu, Adita, Apeksha & RaviTeja;
They keep it cool, instead of eating others bheja! :p
The art of ‘Eating’ reminds me of some foodie mates,
Like Shri Jhambh & Our Baijo-the great;
We also have a food specialist amongst us,
Mr. P Dalsania gives free consultancy, without any fuss.

While, many showcase the Consultancy skills,
Utkarsh J & Adhiraj sell marketing pills;
Ashwarya teams up with Mr. Panjwani,
And, the Guru-chela bonding is like  नल & पानी ! ;)

We also have a grapevine driving group,
Monalisa, Kritika & Nikita form the troop;
It is well catalyzed by Sir Divya & Sir Prateek,
Mostly for entertainment without any leaks!

Scoop of sports excites some feet,
Like Aayush, Bhargav, Dhairya & Meet,
While, badminton is means of survival for Avijeet!
Rishabh Patel wishes ‘Cristiano’ like treat.

Mayank & Neeraj are our creative manipulator,
Hiren & Nitin G are our idea generators;
Ankit Jain believes in spilling Jargons around,
And, Manthan masters the art of mimicking the sound.

Alay, Ronak, Mrudul are happy creatures,
With whom I enjoyed taking breakfast;
While Mr. Arpit has “Grand-pa” like features,
He endorses simplicity & does accounting pretty fast.

Day scholars have been an integral part,
Without whom, PG16 is an empty cart;
Trushen, Parin, John, Nisarg P & Bishita,
Saif, Urvi, Prity, Vivek & Alisha;
They introduced us to Ahmedabad so well,
Accompanied by Saif, Jainish & Anny Patel!
Arsalan & Harsh widened our the vision,
While managing Zorba: the Sound division!

There is a special Dassu team,
Where Utkarsh G & Riya make others scream!
Dhruv,Shri Nisarg Shah, Jay M, Darshan are the frequent targets,
Thus, art of walking away, they never forget.
Shiv, Dharang, Dharit & Parth,
They prefer walking on the intellectual path;
Vanraj, Barkha & Venkat P are usually on food hunting spree,
While, Swapnil & Rushiraj are found roaming around free. ;)

Super-6 is a group of jovial girls,
Just like a bunch of glittering pearls,
Avani & Anubhuti: the twin sisters,
Jhanvee & Shalini: the musketeers,
Priya & Palak are the style queens,
They all maintain a youthful sheen!

Their lean structure makes many furious,
‘Where does the food goes?’, many are curious,
Its about Vivek V & Miss Apurva Jain,
They actually look like ‘Luna’, if we’re ‘the Van’! :p

Time for one word titles,
for the dear ones who are left,
Now, I’ll try to make it quick,
Before u give up your back rest!

Dishita is a cool girl,
Sharad is a Gentleman,
Sakshi is good to be teacher,
Now, EDI should put an Indore Ban! (All three lines for Indori’s, seriously!!!)

Jay V & Milan share a strong bond,
While, Miss Prachi sings blogging song;
Jayanti is usually fond laughing out loud,
While, Nitin V is putting efforts to make us all proud!

For PG16:
Bro Rupesh has been a key motivator,
Hrishi played well to be accommodative entertainer,
Aayush Mehta’s knack of music energizes us,
And, Piyush wrote this one just for entertainment purpose! (Forgive & Forget!)

Thanksgiving: because a ‘Thank you’ was due!

Thank you!  Thank you!! Thank you!!!
That is all I wanted to say,
And, thought of expressing the same,
In my own creative way.

So,I’m writing a poem for your delight,
Bringing a few memories back to the lime light;
I’m arranging passed moments from my hindsight,
And I hope the scattered jigsaws will be set right.

Over phone,
You sounded confident with your scintillating voice,
And helped me in making my college choice;
But when I reached here,I didn’t find you,
And a ‘Thank you’ is what was due!

I played badminton after quite a long time,
And, we managed the shuttle between the parallel line(s);
I was encouraged to see an ‘active’ you,
And a ‘Thank you’ is what was due!

You always greeted in a pleasing style,
Your jovial appearance and the beautiful smile;
I was spellbound by the warmth shown by you,
And a ‘Thank you’ is what was due!

Just in an year’s spell,
You decoded this institute quite well;
How the people,the place and the system functions,
You shared a lot about the links and the junctions;
I was overwhelmed to see an ‘analyst’ in you,
And a ‘Thank you’ is what was due!

The tips you shared were worth following,
I did try a few and it added to the zing;
The secret of library basement is actually known to a few,
And for sharing it,
a ‘Thank you’ is what was due!

When the EPL team owner inquired,
and an instant answer I required,
I could not think of a negotiable reply,
Then you came for my rescue like an ally;
I was moved to see a 'friend' in you,
And a ‘Thank you’ is what was due!

 The Pink Puma Bag is an element of attraction,
 As it spreads in the air that feminine fraction,
 I was thrilled to see the bag with you,
And a ‘Thank you’ is what was due!

Well…
Some instances might have been left unquoted,
But, the beautiful ones have been well noted;
I hope to express my gratitude in future too,
And let ‘the Thank you’ be left: as a due!!!

#Thanksgiving: written for a dear friend on her birthday to express my gratitude.
# Actual 'Thanksgiving': Fourth Thursday in November in the United States; second Monday in October in Canada; commemorates a feast held in 1621 by the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag
(As per Oxford English dictionary)

Mechanical-B Mechanical Bhi

Finally,
The time has come to bid farewell to my dear friends,
With whom I took the oath of setting new Mechanical Engineering trends.

Oops,
I think I got a bit emotional while stating the above line,
Who cares to be a trendsetter, when everything is running smooth and fine.
So, instead of making this conversation technically sad,
Give me a chance to turn you MAD,
Here is a descriptive story of B Section guys,
Enjoy this poem with the Coke and French fries.

Starting with the HUNKY guy,
Who’s unbeatable how hard you may try,
Only 1411 left and He’s one of them,
Rupesh -‘The SHER’ is really a glittering gem.

Now, think of something very lean,
2 words will strike your mind,
Daredevil Rakesh Kumar is the only one of its kind.

Hey, do you know Mr. Bean?
Who ridicule you without uttering a word,
Shambhu Shukla plays the same character,
But he acts cleverly not as a nerd.

Just opposite of him is Vishnukant Jha,
Who keeps on chattering throughout the day,
And when you ask him to cut the crap,
‘Dost ho kar aisaa karega?’ is what he’ll say.

Pradeep Patel follows the same trail,
And utters ‘Technical’ rubbish without any fail,
He and Sudhanshu shares their experiences well,
For every topic they always have something new to tell.

Far away from all this,
We have one saint in our class,
The calm and quite ‘Sant Saurabh Das’.
You won’t find him doing anything absurd,
He is in real terms a man of few words.

The group of 6 members is worth mentioning,
It includes Aproop, Vipin, Vivek, Sankalp, and Sumit Singh.
The group is mixture of dazzlers and freaks,
They have range of information from bikes to Chicks.
Varun Pratap is the 6th member,
Whose name all teachers remember,
He’s good at tossing the chalks around,
And possess great talent of creating unusual sounds.

The most famous character of our section,
Who never forgets one thing to mention,
To thank Mr. Bill Gates for the PowerPoint feature,
That aids his presentation with animated picture.
He’s none other than Mr. Prashant K. Gupta,
Also known as ‘Chappy-The Chapman’, jo kabhi nahi rukta.

Next comes the Hip-Hop guy,
Who wears metallic bangles as his lucky charm.
Rahul Patel hai uska naam,
He lives and works on online farms.

The 3V battery is another group of friends,
Where Vipin and Vikas are the two ends,
Vikram is also connected to them,
Hi-Fi talks let the current flow through them.

Do you know who’s the most ‘Jugaadoo’ guy?
Prakhar Bothra is his name,
I just don’t know why,
But this ‘Doctor’ knows shortcut of every mind game.

‘SHORTAGE OF WATER!!!’,we don’t fear,
Because we have 2 Sagars (Sahu & P.) in our class,
But the problem is a bit different here,
One runs after the girls and other rarely attends the class.

Who’s the leader of our class?
It’s quite clear form his name,
Siddharth Gandhi is the guy,
If any faults found, he’s to be blamed.

From the field of sports,
When a reporter reports,
3 names always comes up,
Rohan, Saurabh Singh and Saurav Kashyap.

There is one, who’s just opposite,
Whom I’ve never seen in casual outfit,
He’s the bookworm and wears bold spects,
For this crime, Rahul Uttamani is the prime suspect.

Srijan Chandrakar shares the same temperament,
The guy keeps low profile but he’s highly intelligent.

Who’s ‘Tech Savvy’ amongst all of us?
This question is not a big fuss,
Subhashish Nandi is the answer,
Contact him for Ppts and other file transfers.

You can find 2 ‘WANTED’ tags,
Tied to everybody’s’ bag,
It’s difficult to find them anywhere,
Vivek and Prakash Soni are the Hide ‘n’ Seek players.

Next one is the guy, gifted with sophisticated features,
Who appears to be a foreign based creature,
The gentle appearance and stupendous accent of his voice,
Makes Rishabh Bajaj unquestionably the right choice.

Saikat Mukherjee exhibits an extraordinary skill,
He keenly donates blood without a RE-FILL.
When his companion Shubham is around,
Be sure of something mischievous to be found.

Do you know who’s the DON?
Arre...apne Vidya bhaiyaa aur kaun,
Shaant swabhaav ke vyakti hain ye,
Pata nahi log inse kyun hain darrte?
‘GURUJI’ ke naam se hain jaane jaate,
‘N.S.S’ ki Sevabhavnaa ka path hain padhaate.

Who’s the coolest guy here?
Say it loud without any fear,
Funky clothes is what he wears,
His concept of life is very clear,
Live to the fullest and make it large,
‘The TOPIWALA Sardar’ is our ‘Sartaaj’.
Satdeep Singh Arora is his name,
Full entertainment is assured when he’s in the game.

Next comes the 5 member troop,
Abrar Bhai is the leader of this group,
Sujit & Narendra are the associate members,
Omprakash & Amol are the defenders.
The group is all about LAZY chaps,
Though they are entertaining despite their craps.

At last, come the 3 Gentlemen,
‘PIYUSH’ is the term common in them,
With Chandraker, Patel and Agrawal as their surnames,
They should be treasured in Mechanical’s HALL OF FAME.

So, the poem is over for your delight,
And now you will get some respite.

Conclusion:-

1. Section-A only talks, but B-Section always Rocks !!! (Oops...)

KEEP SMILING........
